More Electrical Wire Information
THHN wire is dual rated with THWN wire at all times from WesBell's inventory. Getting both approvals is a minimal cost so we make sure that everyone is happy when they receive their electrical wire from us. THHN is used in many electrical applications because almost every type of electrical cable you get has THHN wires as the conductors. The difference between the cables is the outer jacket that protects it from different environments.
Romex® is a type of electrical cable that's only allowed to be used indoors, MC cable can be used outdoors and in conduit and UFB cable can be used directly underground to run electricity to your barn or spa. Each type of cable gets more expensive with more approvals of course so make sure you find the cheapest version of electrical wire that you can for your project.
